Mount Fuji


Why is Mount Fuji famous? Rising to 12,388 feet (3,776 metres), Mount Fuji is the tallest mountain in Japan and is known for its graceful conical form. It is the country's sacred symbol, and temples and shrines are located around and on the volcano.
Japan’s Mt. Fuji is an active volcano about 100 kilometers southwest of Tokyo. Commonly called “Fuji-san,” it’s the country’s tallest peak, at 3,776 meters. A pilgrimage site for centuries, it’s considered one of Japan’s 3 sacred mountains, and summit hikes remain a popular activity. Its iconic profile is the subject of numerous works of art, notably Edo Period prints by Hokusai and Hiroshige.

 Itsukushima shrine


The Itsukushima shrine is one of Japan's most popular tourist attractions. It is most famous for its dramatic gate, or torii on the outskirts of the shrine, the sacred peaks of Mount Misen, extensive forests, and its ocean view.tsukushima, also known as tsukushima, also known as Miyajima, is a small island in Hiroshima Bay, western Japan. It is known for its forests and ancient temples. Just offshore, the giant, orange Great Torii Gate is partially submerged at high tide. Sensoji Temple 

The Sensoji Temple is dedicated to Asakusa Kannon, the Buddhist god of mercy and happiness. According to legend, two fishermen struck gold and found a statue of the god while fishing on the Sumida River. ... The majority of travelers enjoyed their experience at the Sensoji Temple.Sensoji (浅草寺) is one of the most significant Buddhist temples in Tokyo. The Kaminari-mon (lightning gate), long promenade (Nakamise Dori) and the temple itself are some of the biggest tourist attractions in the city. There is no admission fee, but you can make a donation if you wish at the temple.

Nara Park, one of Nara's most famous destinations, is famous for being able to interact with deer that roam in the park. ...
