 BLACK LENTILS

The actual name of Black Lentil is Vigna Mungo, cultivated in South Asia. It is also known as Urad Dal and used in Indian cuisine. It is important pulse that grows in Kharif and Rabi season. The district of Tamil Nadu witness the cultivation.

In Northern India, it used for making Dal while in the Southern India it is the key ingredient which is added in every dishes be it Idle, Dosa or in Vada.

Black Rice

Black rice is grows in Odisha, West Bengal and Jharkhand. It is eaten by Manipur's local because of its medical facility. It is called Chak-Hao in Manipur. The Black rice is used to eat during there traditional fest. The boiled water of Black rice is used to wash hair as it make strong. It has several medical and nutritional facilities. It provide vitamin B and E.

Black bean is one of the variety of soybean which is known as Glycine Max. It is found in Kumaon region of Northern India and bordering states and countries of Himalaya. It has a high medical and nutritional value. It is a source of vegetable, protein and oil. It prevent cholesterol, and also protect from heart disease due to the presence of linolenic acid .




                            
The Black Food items which are found in India is more healthy and nutritional then compare its other varieties. Hardly found in India except few region and this is the reason why it is not easily available  or the product is sold in the market with high value.
